What is the Weight Loss process and how do I get started? In the beginning, our nurse practitioner schedule consultations with each client where they will be evaluated thoroughly.
Your medical history is discussed to ensure the treatment will be a healthy weight loss treatment program for your unique circumstances. Certain health conditions can preclude clients from using this treatment but all of this will be clearly explain to you.
Once you are approved, you will come in for weekly scheduled appointments where you will receive an injection and meet with one of our highly trained treatment providers. Rest assured that we can work with your busy schedule.
Each client is assigned a provider who will help them through our eight-week program. They will perform the weekly weigh-in and discuss the newly adopted strategies toward eating habits and exercise regiments making adjustments as needed.
After each weekly injection, our staff can help manage any subsequent discomfort and offer additional treatment options to help you adjust to the introduction of the treatment in your body.
Once the eight-week program has completed, clients are given the option to continue participating in the program and lose additional weight. If they continue beyond the eight-week program, the cost of each visit decreases substantially.
Researchers recognized the medication had several positive impacts including weight loss. Through numerous clinical trials, the FDA granted approval for this medication to be used in weight loss management in June of 2021.
